This private session is a combination of Pilates exercises that are designed to be practiced on the springboards and other equipment and a set of G-RPMP exercises that participants can learn and practice at home.
We will work on rehabilitating and strengthening the areas of your body that are contributing to your current pain condition. We start out by teaching the basics of Pilates, alignment, balance, and movement principles, and the use of the springboards. These equipment based exercises can be practiced during the G-RPMP Open Studio practice.
The second half of the session will be dedicated to teaching you a series of exercises that can easily be practiced at home, on your own time, and are tuned for your specific pain management needs .
You will learn to access and consciously use the deepest core muscles (the pelvic floor, the transverse abdominals, etc..) in order to help you maintain optimal posture, balance, and to minimize pain.
