This basic 55 min one-on-one session is structured to relieve the source of any immediate pain and addresses any posture needs.
In this session, you will also have the opportunity to learn a couple of special G-RPMP exercises that you can practice at home.
We will first address any immediate pain and concerns you have. We follow with a deeper look at what is causing or is at the roo of the pain. Using techniques from the Hendrickson Method, we will work on a neuromuscular level to help your body re-learn movements in a pain-free way. Based on the continuous reassessment of your condition and posture, elements of Pilates, Tai Chi, and Qi Gong will be gradually introduced as we progress together towards your therapeutic objectives.
This session is a great first immersion into the GELFAND-Regenerative Pain Mitigation Program.
The GELFAND-Regenerative Pain Mitigation Program (G-RPMP) was developed by theatre director Tatiana Gelfand, and merges
- the anatomical elements of Hendrickson Method Manual Therapy
- the contemporary Pilates fitness model, together with
- the ancient Eastern energy arts of Tai Chi, Reiki, and Qi Gong.
