RELEASE AND RELEARN: This Springboard equipment-based class is a gentle and slow-paced introduction to the basics of Pilates, to our signature G-RPMP exercises, as well as to special self-care exercises you can take home.
Our small class size (5 students max) ensures you will get substantial individual attention and instruction. We focus on proper form, posture alignment, using the breath and efficiency of movement.
Our priority is to have you work “smarter” – in a way that is in tune with your body’s unique needs.
We will use the Springboard & a set of props to learn to release, strengthen, and to move from a place of ease.
This is a good fit for you if you are just starting up your movement practice and/or recovering from recent or active pain or injury.
G-RPMP exercises combine elements of from various modalities:
- Principles of anatomy & neuromuscular re-education from Hendrickson Method Manual Therapy.
- Core strength, proper posture and alignment, coordination, balance, and stretching from Pilates
- Conscious relaxation, breath control, and body awareness from traditional Eastern energy & movement arts of Tai Chi, Reiki, and Qi Gong.
